The Puzzle

You know a word is like a puzzle piece

That needs to fit somehow,

And a speakers just the vehicle

To get to there from now.

For if the word spoken is out of place,

The puzzle doesn’t fit

And the speaker loses face.

I will choose my words

Till the puzzle pieces fit.

Till the crowd applauds

As I show my charm & wit.

For to never speak

Means the puzzle will just sit.

So I will choose my words

Till the puzzle pieces fit.

For a mis-spoken word is like a rain cloud

In a far-away land.

It holds the rain so far-away

But keeps it dessert dry at hand.

So keep your words choice.

Let the pieces fit your mind.

Till that best word you find…..Yes

I will choose my words

Till the puzzle pieces fit.

Till the crowd applauds

As I show my charm & wit.

For to never speak

Means the puzzle will just sit.

So I will choose my words

Till the puzzle pieces fit.

You’re sure to have speechless moments

And I know I will too,

But if we take the time to search,

The right words will come to me and you
